The new ALS system (AlternativeListingService.com) is different from most By Owner sites. Our goal is to function more like the MLS. Our sellers offer broker protection so agents can use this as an alternative to the MLS when they can't find homes for their buyers on the MLS. To make their homes more marketable they offer to give that same commission to the independent home buyer in the form of a concession so they can pay closing costs, purchase a home warranty, buy down their rate or a combination.
